Why we made Bloomly…
We know from personal experience that most mental wellness apps simply don’t work. They often promise life-changing results but fail to deliver. Why? Because they don’t address the root causes of negative emotions, are hard to fit into daily life, and are often overwhelming.
It’s no surprise that over 97% of these apps are deleted within days. This leaves millions of people feeling stuck, underserved, and without the energy or motivation to feel better.
We wanted to create something different—an app that genuinely helps people feel better. Our goal was to design something you can use in virtually any setting, that’s incredibly easy to use, and, most importantly, measurably effective.
How is Bloomly different?
Bloomly takes a groundbreaking approach to mental wellness. While it looks simple on the outside, it’s anything but under the hood. We deliberately hid away the complexity, so you don’t have to think about how it works—just press play and let it guide you toward feeling better.
Backed by Science
Bloomly uses audio mental conditioning based on positive psychology to gently recondition your mind for a healthier, more positive outlook. It’s a proven approach, with 96% of users reporting positive changes within one week, including feeling better, having more energy, and sleeping better.
Effortless to Use
Bloomly works in the background while you go about your day—whether you’re working, driving, or relaxing. You don’t need to focus or set aside extra time, making it easy to fit into your life.
Truly Personalized

Never Boring
Each session is auto-generated, so you’ll never hear the same thing twice. Sessions can run as long as you like—just press play and stop whenever you’re ready. No time limits, no stress.
Enjoyable and Engaging
Unlike other apps, EverYellow is something you’ll actually look forward to using. The soothing and uplifting experience makes it a pleasure, not another chore.
Our Mission:
Bloomly was born out of the personal journey of Alan Cox, a social entrepreneur and speaker, who battled with poor mental health for most of his adult life. The turning point came after a near-fatal experience during the Canterbury earthquakes, which led to a significant mental breakdown. In his quest for recovery, Alan tried numerous mental wellbeing apps but found none that helped him effectively.
With a background in engineering and problem-solving, Alan began to delve into psychology and neuroscience to understand his mind better. It was during this period that he encountered the concept of mental fitness—a revelation that shifted his perspective from mere survival to thriving. This new understanding brought him hope and optimism, fueling his belief in overcoming mental health struggles once and for all.
Alan started experimenting with personalized audio playlists, a simple yet profound method that allowed him to absorb psychological insights and motivational content effortlessly. This approach proved incredibly effective, catalyzing his recovery and transforming his life. He experienced reduced stress, increased energy, and enhanced productivity. Most notably, his relationships with his wife and family flourished.
Curious about why these audio playlists were so effective, Alan realized he was reconditioning his mind through repeated exposure to positive psychological concepts. Despite his progress, he discovered that the majority of existing mental wellness apps rarely worked and were quickly abandoned by users—over 96% of people gave up on them within just a few days.
Disturbed by the thought that millions worldwide are struggling with mental health issues and lack affordable human support, Alan was driven to make a difference. He set out to develop an app that was not only effective but accessible to everyone. Bloomly, led by Alan and his team of dedicated freelancers, has been a labor of love, developed over several years. It is now a passion project that has begun to help thousands of people across the globe achieve better mental fitness.
